Personality Development camp is to develop the students spiritually and build self confidence ,enhance self esteem and improve overall personality.
With this aim a Five days camp was organised on personality development by Vivekananda kendra vidyalaya Ramnagar silchar for the students of Class VI.
The program began on 10th June 2024 to 14th June 2024.All the students of Clas VI participated in the camp with great enthusiasm.
Each day of PDC began with chanting of three omkaras,Aikyamantra and Geeta Chanting. These were followed by Yogabhyas Here students were given practice on loosening exercise, Surya namaskar, Asanas, pranayam and also meditation .In Boudhik satra first day our respected Principal sir Sri Bijan Saha spoke on Personality. Second day the topic was Samskar Varga spoke by Kathamrita didi.Third day was taken by our primary incharge Lipika didi she spoke on the great personality of Assam Srimanta Sankardev. Fourth day Sanchari didi motivated the students about the great personality Mananiya Eknath ji Ranade. On the last day Gargi didi imparted knowledge on Indian culture. Besides these students had done workshop on leadership quality, how to conduct Samskar Varga.They were taught Clay modelling how to prepare things by using wastes materials . Each day ended with samskar Varga in which students practiced various activities such as patriotic songs, various agyas, listened motivational stories of great personalities and various games. The end was marked by shibir geet and kendra Prarthana everyday. In the concluding program our chief guest was Professor Anup Kumar Dey, Dr. Ambedkar Chair Professor, Assam University, Silchar and Dr. Munni Deb Mazumder, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Janata College, Kabuganj. They enlightened the students by sharing motivational stories.Students performed various activities such as shibir geet ,patriotic songs, skit and atlast some of the students shared their experiences of Five days personality development camp.The program was concluded by shanti path and Kendra Prarthana.
