"Through practice comes Yoga, through Yoga comes knowledge, through knowledge love, and through love and bliss." Swami Vivekananda enlightened us through his understanding of yoga, which aims to reconnect us with the Almighty. Therefore, on June 21, 2024, Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ramnagar Silchar honoured International Yoga Day. Students from class VII C organised the event. The programme began with mangalacharan, followed by the students' introductory song and a discussion about the significance of the day. Students showed various asanas and performed recitations and dances. Rakesh Debnath Sir enlightened us with his speech, Housewise Yogasana competition was conducted for the students of our vidyalaya. Parents of Balvatika also joined us and practiced yoga to mark the day .Vkv Ramnagar took initiative to spread the message of Swami Vivekananda in the society, One day Yogasana programme was conducted in Y.S Memorial school where Students of our vidyalaya took initiative to involve them in practice of Yoga.
