Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ramnagar, Silchar celebrated 78th Independence Day in the school premises with great enthusiasm and patriotic fever. The entire school was decorated tri colour . The flag was hoisted by our respected principal sir while the school band played the national anthem. The sight of the tricolor waving in the breeze filled everyone with pride and joy. The program started with Mangalacharan, Sri Bijan Saha delivered a welcome address . Students from different classes participated in various performances that showcased the rich heritage and history of India.First,a conversation was held to convey the significance of the day, followed by patriotic dance, song , instrumental music etc.Our vidyalaya's social science teacher, Moujhuri Nath didi, enlightened everyone with her speech.After this,some children recited the famous slogans of Indian freedom fighters.Our chief guest Sri Sudip Das, (Circle head, PNB) expressed his thoughts regarding the event and thanked school for instilling patriotic feeling in them , they planted some saplings on this occasion.The program concluded with Shanti Mantra.
