Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav was observed with great enthusiasm on 8th, 9th, 22nd, and 24th December 2025 at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ramnagar. The programme was organised to promote awareness and appreciation of India’s rich linguistic and cultural heritage. The entire celebration beautifully reflected the spirit of unity in diversity.
The programme began with Mangalacharan, followed by a floral tribute to Mahakavi Subramania Bharati, honouring his immense contribution to Indian literature and national awakening. Students then presented melodious songs in different Indian languages, which showcased the richness and beauty of Bharatiya bhashas. This was followed by the presentation of proverbs from various Indian languages, where students explained their meanings and conveyed universal values such as unity, wisdom, and cooperation.
On 9th December 2025, students further enriched the programme by presenting phrases from different Indian languages through a story, helping everyone understand the similarity of thoughts and expressions across languages.
The programme concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra.
On 22nd and 24th December 2025, different house groups presented presentations in various Indian languages such as Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, and Manipuri. These presentations highlighted the cultural significance of each language and strongly conveyed the message of unity in diversity. Students confidently explained the uniqueness of each language while emphasizing the common cultural bond shared by all.
