Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya , Ramnagar Silchar observed Guru Poornima on 4th July,2025.
The program was organised by the students of Class IX.
The program commenced with Mangalacharan followed by 11 Omkara to mark the significance of Om.
A few students of Class IX then presented a beautiful song and an informative conversation on the significance of the day.
A teacher of the Vidyalaya, Dhoritri Bora Didi enlightened the students with her words. She spoke on the significance of the auspicious day of Guru Poornima which is celebrated as the birthday of Rishi Vedvyas.
She also shed light on the lives of Mananeeya Eknathji and Nibedita Didi, highlighting how they guided us on the path of discovering our Guru. She added that Mananeeya Sri Eknathji, the founder of Vivekananda Kendra, encouraged his followers to see Om as their guru, emphasizing its role as a unifying force and source of spiritual guidance.
The students were shown an informative video on the birth of Rishi Vedvyas and his contribution towards the mankind.
The program ended with Shanti Mantra.
