3 days workshop on ALM (Active
Learning Methodology) was held in VKV, Ramnagar from 16th to 18th
February 2017. 30 participants from 3 VKVs of Barak Valley Region (VKV
Ramnagar-10, VKV Borojalenga-8, VKV Badarpur-7) and two schools from Agartala
(Suvrai Vidyamandir School-3 and Suvrai
Convent School-2) were present in the workshop.
Two resource persons namely Shivagami Sundari Didi (Chief Educational
Officer of Tamilnadu) and National Awardee
Teacher Sri Anbazagan. N was present. ALM means Learner Centric Study where teacher
can enrich the learning capacity of students and it gives a divergent exposure
to learners.
Different steps of ALM were shared like Mind
Map , SQ4R , Consolidation which were the centre of attraction. Different groups
were made for different activities. After that teachers from each subjects took
classes on ALM for students.
