Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ramnagar celebrated Swami Vivekananda's 162nd birthday with a two-day annual programme on January 11 and 12. The occasion was met with excitement and enthusiasm. With the lighting of the lamps and Mangalacharan, the festival got underway. The main visitor in attendance was Revered Ganadishananda Maharaj, the secretary of the Silchar Ramakrishna Mission.Mananeeya Meera Didi All India prashikshan pramuk was also present on the occasion.Revered Ganadishananda Maharajji enlightened everyone through his speech. Before he talked, he defined "Sahana Bhavatu". He claims that Swami Vivekananda disseminated chanting throughout the globe. He explained during his speech that the meaning of the chant was "the world is mine." He cited some of Swami Vivekananda's most important concepts and told stories from his life.He explained during his speech that the meaning of the chant was "the world is mine." He counselled us to cling to his teachings and our faith in ourselves. He was a big believer in the importance of character development. After that, Sanjay Dey Sir, science teacher delivered a speech in which he advised the students to use Gita.Gita to be used by students in their science projects,as Vedanta and science are related.
