On 9th May 2019, Rabindra Jayanti was celebrated
in Vidyalaya. Various programs were organized on the occasion. Students
presented Rabindra Nritya, Rabindra Sangeet, Recitation on the poems of
Rabindranath Tagore , Drama on the story “Juto Abhyaskar. Smt Mamoni Das didi spoke on the contribution
of Rabindranath Tagore in the field of Literature. Smt Durba Deb (Professor of Assam University)
was present as guest in this program. She narrated different incidents from the
life of Rabindranath Tagore.
Housewise Song , Dance and Recitation competitions were also
organized on the occasion.
