Samartha Bharat Parva Observation


 On 26th December 2018, Samartha Bharat Parva was observed in Vidyalaya. On the occasion Smt Tripti Das (Head of Sanskrit Department, Women's College) was present as Chief Guest. On the occasion students of Class VI presented patriotic song. Conversation on the topic of Samartha Bharat Parva was done by students of Class IX.  Abantika Singha of Class VII spoke on the significance of the day. Sri Dibakar Nag (Mathematics teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the different aspects of Indian Culture and Tradition. Smt Tripti Das in her speech spoke about our contribution from ancient time in all the fields of Education, Science, Sports, Literature etc and motivated the students to work for the country. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Zonal Level Geeta Chanting Competition


  On 23rd December 2018, Zonal Level Geeta Chanting Competition was conducted in Vidyalaya. In this program 28 students from five VKV's of Southern Assam Cluster have participated. 18th Chapter Slokas of Bhagabat Geeta were chanted by the students. As judges for the competition, Sri Govind Sharma sir (Assistant Professor of Assam University, Sanskrit department), Sri Ranjit Tiwari (Assistant Professor of Women's College, Sanskrit Department), Sri Nidhubhusan Das from Sanskrit Bharati, Sri Giridhari Mishra from Gayatri Chetana Kendra were present. Sri Joydeep Bhattacharjee (Assistant Professor of Commerse Department, G.C College) was present in Valedictory program.   Competition was conducted in Three Levels as Junior Group (From Class III-V) , Sub Junior Group (From Class VI- VIII) and Senior Group (Class IX-X). 
Students of VKV Ramnagar Kaushiki Bhattacharjee secured Proficiency prize and K. Bapu Singha secured Participation prize in Junior group. From Sub Junior group Kh. Purenbi Singha secured Participation Prize. From Senior group Joyeeta Das secured participation prize.

Gita Jayanti Observation


 On 18th december 2018, gita Jayanti was observed in Vidyalaya. On the occasion many programs were organized. Music students of Vidyalaya presented Krishna Bhajan. Students from Class V also sang one song. Sri Jahar Roy sir( Sanskrit Teacher of Vidyalaya) sopke on the significance of the day and the learning from Bhajabat Gita. Sri Keshab Luithal (Asistant Professor from Sanskrit Department, G.C College was present on the occasionas Judge to do judgement of the Sloka Chanting Competition of Bhagabat Geeta. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Aryabhata Anusandhanatmak Vijnan Prakalpa Competition



On 15 and 16 december 2018, Cluster Level Aryabhata  Anusandhanatmak  Vijnan  Prakalpa was organized in Vidyalaya where 6 schools of Southern Assam Cluster participated.  On the occasion as Chief Guest  Dr C.R Bhattacharjee of Assam University Chemistry Department was present. As  judges of the competition Sri Nilendu Dhar (Associate Professor of G.C College) , Dr Saumitra Nath (Assistant Professor of G.C College), Sri Aprotim Nag (Assistant Professor of G C College) were present in the Vidyalaya. From Jyanaprabodhini Pune Sri Prasant Dabekar and Abhijit Atmaram Kaprekar were present. Sri Rabindranath Savdeykar (Coordinator of ISP and Principal of VKV Dibrugarh) was also present  along with  members of VKSPV.
Students of VKV Ramnagar presented four topics in four groups. VKV Ramnagar students received Proficiency Award in both senior and Junior group.  And also they received participation award. 
On the occasion, Science Exhibition was also organized.

Su-Ka-Fa Diwas Observation


 On 3rd December 2018, Su-Ka-Fa Diwas is observed in Vidyalaya. On the occasion various programs are organised. Students of Class VII presented Patriotic song. Mrigakhi Mitra of Class VI spoke on the significance of the day. Conversation is presented by Barnali Singha and Debita Singha of Class VI. Smt Ranjana Singha (Science Teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the life and work of Su-Ka-Fa and motivated the students to work for the country.

Principal's Message

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RAMNAGAR, SILCHAR is an educational project of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA, KANYAKUMARI, Headquarter and Kanyakumari
. The school is running with the objective of "Man Making - Nation Building". VKV Ramnagar, , Silchar was established in the year 2005. The land was donated by late Adhir Chandra Roy, a resident of Ramnaagar area.
The Vidyalaya has co-educational facility. Though English is the Medium of instructions, equal emphasis is also given to Hindi, Bengali and Sanskrit in the curriculum. Besides academic, the Vidyalaya has initiated different activities to help the children develop their inherent faculties. The Vidyalaya is leaving no stone unturned in instilling in the children a sense of righteousness and discipline. The vidyalaya curriculum has given the top most priority in generating a pool of students with high moral values for maintaining love and respect for our rich cultural heritage as well as for serving the society and the motherland as responsible citizen in the long run.
