From 5th January to 8th
January 2018 sports meet was conducted in VKV Ramnagar. Major Paneet Gill of
Assam Rifles 2MGAR was present as Chief Guest
and DCI of NCC Dolynn Karbey was
the Guest of Honour on that day. Various activities like March Past, Martial
Art, MPT, Suryanamaskar, Yogasanas, Pyramids
were demonstrated by the students. Both the guests motivated the
students and inspired them by citing the examples from the life of Swami
Vivekananda and even shared their experiences in life. They encouraged the
girls to come forward and take the responsibility in their own shoulder Everest
Climber Dolynn Karbey in one of the line of her speech said when she was mocked by the people of other part of India
for being short heighted then her teacher consoled her by saying that mountains
only know the climbers not the gender. And she also motivated that we should
always proud to be an Indian and serve the Nation.
Rest of the days different games were
conducted for the students.
