From 26th
December 2017, Samartha Bharat Parva observation started in Vidyalaya. Samartha
Bharat Parva is observed from 25th December to 12th
January every year, the historical days
from 25th December to 27th December when Swami
Vivekananda meditated on the rock of kanyakumari. Program started with
Mangalacharan. Students of Class VI presented the opening song. One
conversation was done by the students of class VIII Mallika Naidu and Inuangbi Chanu. Students
of Class VII presented Vivek Geet. Smt Indrani Bhattacharjee (Assistant
Professor of Silchar College of Education and Principal of Pranabananda
Vidyamandir ) was present as Chief Guest.
She spoke on our country’s contribution in the field of Literature starting
from the ancient time. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.
On 30th December Dr. Saumitra Nath (Lecture of Biotech Department, G.C College) was present as resource person. Saumitra sir spoke on the contribution of our country in the field of Science. He motivated the students by the Powerpoint presentation.
