On 16th August 2017, Janmasthami is
celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit. Various programs were there. Smt Purobi Chakraborty (Former Lecturer of Women's College) was present there to grace the occasion. She spoke on the message and lessons that we get from Lord Krishna's life to work and be firm on the goal of our life. Students of Class VIII presented the opening Krishna Bhajan. Sarju Singha, student of Class IX spoke on the significance of Krishna Janmasthami. Dance Drama "Kalia Daman" was performed by Class IV and V students.
