On 7th August 2017, Raksha Bandhan was celebrated in Vidyalaya. On the occasion various programs were there. Students of Class VIII presented the opening song. Smt Krishna Bhattacharjee (Retired teacher of Adharchand Higher Secondary School and Prant Boudhik Pramukh of Rastriya Sevika Samity) was present as Chief Guest. She spoke on the significance of the day. Raksha Bandhan is the holy festival which connects people with the holy thread of oneness. After the program students went to various places like D.C Office, S.P Office, BSNL Office etc and tied Rakhi to spread the message of oneness.
