On 5th June World Environmental Day was celebrated in Vidyalaya. Sri Amitabh Karmakar ( an Artist from Badarpur who learned how to recycle the Waste Things from Bishwa Bharati University, Kolkata) was present as a resource person. He explained about the significance of the day and conducted workshop for students of classes VIII, IX, X on Recycling of Waste Materials available on our surroundings.
Swachta Abhiyan and Plantation Program was organised in the Vidyalaya by the students and teachers on this day.
