Samartha Bharat Parva Observation


 On 26th December 2018, Samartha Bharat Parva was observed in Vidyalaya. On the occasion Smt Tripti Das (Head of Sanskrit Department, Women's College) was present as Chief Guest. On the occasion students of Class VI presented patriotic song. Conversation on the topic of Samartha Bharat Parva was done by students of Class IX.  Abantika Singha of Class VII spoke on the significance of the day. Sri Dibakar Nag (Mathematics teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the different aspects of Indian Culture and Tradition. Smt Tripti Das in her speech spoke about our contribution from ancient time in all the fields of Education, Science, Sports, Literature etc and motivated the students to work for the country. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Zonal Level Geeta Chanting Competition


  On 23rd December 2018, Zonal Level Geeta Chanting Competition was conducted in Vidyalaya. In this program 28 students from five VKV's of Southern Assam Cluster have participated. 18th Chapter Slokas of Bhagabat Geeta were chanted by the students. As judges for the competition, Sri Govind Sharma sir (Assistant Professor of Assam University, Sanskrit department), Sri Ranjit Tiwari (Assistant Professor of Women's College, Sanskrit Department), Sri Nidhubhusan Das from Sanskrit Bharati, Sri Giridhari Mishra from Gayatri Chetana Kendra were present. Sri Joydeep Bhattacharjee (Assistant Professor of Commerse Department, G.C College) was present in Valedictory program.   Competition was conducted in Three Levels as Junior Group (From Class III-V) , Sub Junior Group (From Class VI- VIII) and Senior Group (Class IX-X). 
Students of VKV Ramnagar Kaushiki Bhattacharjee secured Proficiency prize and K. Bapu Singha secured Participation prize in Junior group. From Sub Junior group Kh. Purenbi Singha secured Participation Prize. From Senior group Joyeeta Das secured participation prize.

Gita Jayanti Observation


 On 18th december 2018, gita Jayanti was observed in Vidyalaya. On the occasion many programs were organized. Music students of Vidyalaya presented Krishna Bhajan. Students from Class V also sang one song. Sri Jahar Roy sir( Sanskrit Teacher of Vidyalaya) sopke on the significance of the day and the learning from Bhajabat Gita. Sri Keshab Luithal (Asistant Professor from Sanskrit Department, G.C College was present on the occasionas Judge to do judgement of the Sloka Chanting Competition of Bhagabat Geeta. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Aryabhata Anusandhanatmak Vijnan Prakalpa Competition



On 15 and 16 december 2018, Cluster Level Aryabhata  Anusandhanatmak  Vijnan  Prakalpa was organized in Vidyalaya where 6 schools of Southern Assam Cluster participated.  On the occasion as Chief Guest  Dr C.R Bhattacharjee of Assam University Chemistry Department was present. As  judges of the competition Sri Nilendu Dhar (Associate Professor of G.C College) , Dr Saumitra Nath (Assistant Professor of G.C College), Sri Aprotim Nag (Assistant Professor of G C College) were present in the Vidyalaya. From Jyanaprabodhini Pune Sri Prasant Dabekar and Abhijit Atmaram Kaprekar were present. Sri Rabindranath Savdeykar (Coordinator of ISP and Principal of VKV Dibrugarh) was also present  along with  members of VKSPV.
Students of VKV Ramnagar presented four topics in four groups. VKV Ramnagar students received Proficiency Award in both senior and Junior group.  And also they received participation award. 
On the occasion, Science Exhibition was also organized.

 On 3rd December 2018, Su-Ka-Fa Diwas is observed in Vidyalaya. On the occasion various programs are organised. Students of Class VII presented Patriotic song. On 24th November 2018, Lachit Diwas was observed in  vidyalaya. Many programs were organized on the occasion. Students of Class X presented Assemese song. Conversation on the life of Lachit was presented by Ayushi Roy and Kavita Dey of Class VIII. Studens of Class VI presented recitation. Deepika Dey of Class VII sopke on the significance of the day. Sadhana diwas observation


 On 19th November 2018,  Sadhana Diwas was observed in Vidyalaya.  Many programs were there on the occasion.  Students of Class IX  presented song on Mananeeya Eknathji  on the occasion.  Nilip  Sarkar of Class IX spoke on the significance of the occasion. Students presented one conversation on the life and working of Mananeeya Eknathji .  Sonchari Adhyapak didi (English teacher of Vidyalaya) sopke on the life and working of Mananeeya eknathji and motivated the students to work for society.

Children's Day observation


  On 14th November 2018, Children's day was observed in full spirit. Many programs were organized on the day. students of Class IV and V  presented two songs. Recitation was also there by students of  Class IV. Manali Singha didi (English Teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the importance of the occasion. Teachers of Vidyalaya presented one song and Drama for the students on the special occasion. Many games like Musical chair, Spoon Race, Kabaddi were also organized for the students.

Vimarsha Program


 On 31st October 2018, on the occasion of completion of 125years of Historic Chicago Speech of Swami Vivekananda, Vimarsha (Lecture cum interaction session) was organized at Vidyalaya. The  topic was "Our role in moulding future generation". On the occasion Mananeeya Nivedita Raghunath Bhide didi (Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari) was present as speaker. Dr S K Nandi Purokayastha was also present on dias. Senior karyakartas of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari were also present on the occasion. Students of vidyalaya presented a song. 
Mananeeya Nivedita Bhide didi spoke on how to mould a child since his childhood, she emphasised on the importance of it. She asked to embibe family values and maintain the culture and heritage of India. She also interacted with the parents and gave them suggestions on their questions. Program  concluded with Shanti Mantra.

 On 27th October 2018, Sister Nivedita Jayanti was observed in Vidyalaya. On the occasion different programs were conducted. Students presented song on Sister Nivedita. Ganit Prajna Samvardhana


   On 12th October 2018, Ganit Prajna Samvardhana was organized in Vidyalaya. Students who secured rank in the VKSPV level were awarded. On this occasion Sri Debasish Sharma and Sri Shurojit Acharjee were present. Students shared their experiences. Students of Vidyalaya presented one song. Resource person Sri Debasish Sharma explained about some mathematical concepts. Sri Shurojit Acharjee  also motivated the students.  After that prizes were distributed to the students. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Disaster Management Programme


     On 4th October 2018, Disaster Management Programme was conducted by the NDRF Team in Vidyalaya. On the occasioon along with members of  NDRF team , Sujata Dutta (Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Silchar), Ataul Rahman Laskar (Secretary, global NGO, Ramnagar) , Sri Ramakant Singha (Leader of SDRF), Bro. Reggy (Director of Don Bosco School, Silchar) were present. Brother Reggy addressed the students. Smt sujata Dutta didi also addressed the students and motivated to work for the society. The NDRF team explained and demonstrated different activities which are to be followed in any disaster timing.

Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti Celebration


On 2nd October 2018, Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti was celebrated in vidyalaya. On the occasion many guests were present namely Sri Ashish Haldar (Deputy Advisor of  VDO, Silchar) , Sri Subhrangshu Sekhar Bhattacharjee (President of Keshab Smarak Surabhi , Silchar),  Ataur Rahman Laskar (General Secretary of Global services), Sahanul Ahmed Raj Barbhuiya (Circle officer , VDO, Silchar) Dulan Chakraborty ( District Legal Services Authority). Different programs were conducted like Patriotic Song by students of Class VII and V. Recitation was there by Class IV and V students. Patriotic Dance was presented by Class VI and VII students. Students of Class VII namely Priyangshu Paul and Abantika Singha sopke on the significance of the day. Smt Preeti Singha (Mathematics teacher of Vidyalaya) and Sri Subham Ray (Hindi Teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the occasion.
Prize distribution ceremony of the competitions were also conducted for the students. Parents were also present to receieve  the prizes of all the competitions conducted for parents in Janmasthami.

On 12th September 2018, Ganesh Chaturthi was observed in vidyalaya in full spirit. Students presented Ganesh Bhajan. Mitsna Singha and Kavita Dey spoke on the significance of the day. Pawan Chetri Sir of Vidyalaya delivered speech on the occasion and narrated different incidents from the life of Lord Ganesha. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Universal Brotherhood Day and Shankardev Tithi Celebration

 
On 11th September 2018, Universal Brotherhood Day and Shankardev Tithi were celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit. On the occasion Dr. Shamita Bhattacharjee (Lecturer of Private college) was present as Chief Guest. She spoke on the contribution of Swami Vivekananda for motherland. Many Programs were there including Speech, Vivek geet, Assemese song, Satriya dance etc. Many competitions were also organised like Vivek geet competitions for Class IX and X, Chicago Speech competition for Class VI and VII, Significance Telling for Class VIII and Story Telling competitions on the life of Swami Vivekananda. Students participated in enthusiastic way.

Principal's Message

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RAMNAGAR, SILCHAR is an educational project of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA, KANYAKUMARI, Headquarter and Kanyakumari
. The school is running with the objective of "Man Making - Nation Building". VKV Ramnagar, , Silchar was established in the year 2005. The land was donated by late Adhir Chandra Roy, a resident of Ramnaagar area.
The Vidyalaya has co-educational facility. Though English is the Medium of instructions, equal emphasis is also given to Hindi, Bengali and Sanskrit in the curriculum. Besides academic, the Vidyalaya has initiated different activities to help the children develop their inherent faculties. The Vidyalaya is leaving no stone unturned in instilling in the children a sense of righteousness and discipline. The vidyalaya curriculum has given the top most priority in generating a pool of students with high moral values for maintaining love and respect for our rich cultural heritage as well as for serving the society and the motherland as responsible citizen in the long run.
