Rabindra Jayanti Observation

On 9th of May,2022,  Rabindra Jayanti was  observed to celebrate the 161th birth anniversary of  Rabindranath Tagore.The program initiated with Mangalacharan.

Floral Tribute was offered to the portrait of Rabindranath Tagore and opening song was sung by the students of the vidyalaya.

Recitations and Dance Drama  'Riturongo'  were also performed by the students.

Significance of the day was shared by Debargha Chakraborty of class VII followed by the speech of Ashima Bhattacharjee Didi (Music Teacher of Vidyalaya), where she sensitized the students about the rich cultural legacy that Tagore has left behind for us. Lastly, the program winds up with Shanti Mantra.

Matri Pitri Puja

 "Matri Devo Bhaba,Pitri Devo Bhaba"

To inculcate this value, Matri Pitri Puja  was conducted by the outgoing class X students of VKV Ramnagar Silchar on 9^th April 2022,  at the school premises. Students worshipped their parents in a ceremonial way.  This is one of the  unique and annual activities of VKV family. 

Our salute and tribute to all the parents, for their immense sacrifice and contribution in this man making and nation building task.
