Janmasthami Celebration



On 24th August 2019, Janmasthami is celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit. Different programs were conducted on the occasion. Students of Music class presented Krishna Bhajan very nicely. Dance on Lord Krishna was presented by selected students. Drama on the childhood of Lord Krishna was presented by Class V students. Student of Class IV Bahnisikha Acharjee spoke on the significance of the day. Smt Anusua Mazumder (renowned Vocalist of the region) was present as Chief Guest along with Smt Jaya Bhawal.  
Different Housewise competitions on Krishna Bhajan and Story telling on the "Childhood of Lord Krishna" were also conducted on the occasion.
Parents also participated in Homemade Food item presentation and Art and Craft competition.

Kishori Vikash Shibir


On 21st August 2019, Kishori Vikash Shibir was organised at VKV Ramnagar. Female students from Class VI to X participated in the Shibir. Dr. Monika Deb (Renowned Gynocologyst) was present as the Resource person along with Smt Reboti Devi (Joint Secretary of VKSPV). Dr. Monika Dey didi spoke on the Health and Hygeine to be maintained by the students. Smt Reboti Devi didi took the session on the Yoga. Myakhi Gyan and Prachi Deb (Sevika from RSS) showed students some tricks for the self defence in any unwanted situtation. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Independence day and Raksha Bandhan Celebration


On 15th August 2019, Independence day and Raksha Bandhan were celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit. In the morning , Flag Hoisting was done in presence of Smt Gauri Dutta Biswas (Teacher of Government Girls’ school) and Sri Sanjeeb Bhawol (Businessman). After that students participated in the Cultural Program. Patriotic song was presented by Music students. KG students performed a dance beautifully. Class VII students presented a conversation on Raksha Bandhan. Patriotic Dance was presented by Dance students. Smt Gauri Dutta Biswas blessed the students with her golden words. 
On the occasion “Go as you like as freedom Fighter” and Patriotic dance competitions were also conducted. Parents were also present in the program.  Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Guru Purnima Observation


 On 8th August 2019, Guru Purnima was observed at Vidyalaya. On the occasion , students of Class IV presented Guru Bhajan very nicely. Baijayanti Bhattacharjee of Class VIII spoke on the significance of the day. Smt. Sanghita Bhattacharjee didi (English Teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the importance of Guru in our life and the guidance we get to walk forward.  
On the occasion, Guru Bhajan competition and Swami Vivekananda's quote competition was also conducted. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Principal's Message

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RAMNAGAR, SILCHAR is an educational project of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA, KANYAKUMARI, Headquarter and Kanyakumari
. The school is running with the objective of "Man Making - Nation Building". VKV Ramnagar, , Silchar was established in the year 2005. The land was donated by late Adhir Chandra Roy, a resident of Ramnaagar area.
The Vidyalaya has co-educational facility. Though English is the Medium of instructions, equal emphasis is also given to Hindi, Bengali and Sanskrit in the curriculum. Besides academic, the Vidyalaya has initiated different activities to help the children develop their inherent faculties. The Vidyalaya is leaving no stone unturned in instilling in the children a sense of righteousness and discipline. The vidyalaya curriculum has given the top most priority in generating a pool of students with high moral values for maintaining love and respect for our rich cultural heritage as well as for serving the society and the motherland as responsible citizen in the long run.
