Ramakrishna Jayanti observation


 On 18th February 2019, Thakur Ramkrishna Jayanti was observed in Vidyalaya. Various programs were conducted on the occasion. Students of Class IV presented Guru Bhajan. Mamta Singh of Class V spoke on the significance of the day. Smt Nili Nath (Teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the importance of the day narrating different incidents from the life of Thakur Sri Ramkrishna. Students of Class V presented song. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Matri-Pitra Puja


 On 16th February 2019, Matri-Pitri Puja was organized in Vidyalaya. Students came with their parents. Chief guests of the program were Dr Himadri Sekhar Das (Professor of Physics department, Assam University) and Sri Jayanta choudhury (Senior Demonstrator of Polytechnic, Silchar). Students at first washed their parents feet and then everone headed towards Prayer Hall. Everyone then offered flowers to Bharatmata. Students of Class IX presented patriotic song. Then Principal of VKV Ramnagar Sri Bijan Saha welcomed the guests , parents and everone and highlighted on the importance of the Puja. With the guidance of Pandit Santosh Dubey puja started. The whole hall transformed into a very divine ambiance. After the Puja, students and teachers shared their experiances of the last ten years journey. The students then took blessings from everyone and lighted the diyas and took prasad. A beautiful Farewell song was presented by students of Class IX . A PPT presentation was also done by the students of Class IX. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Republic day Celebration

 
On 26th January 2019, Republic day was celebrated in Vidyalaya. In the morning Flag hoisting was done by Principal sir of Vidyalaya Sri Bijan Saha. . After that the cultural program started with Patriotic song by the Music students. Students of Class III also presented Patriotic song. Dance on National Integration including eight different dance styles were performed by the students of Vidyalaya. Slogans of Freedom Fighters were also done by Tiny Tots.  Drama on Freedom Fighter was performed by the students of Class IV. Smt Maujhuri Nath Mazumder (Social Science Teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the Glory of our country from Ancient time and the strengthening in all the fields. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Netaji Jayanti Observation


 On 23rd January 2019, Netaji Jayanti Observation was conducted at Vidyalaya. Many programs were organized on the occasion. Students of Class V presented Patriotic song. Rohit Chakraborty of Class VIII spoke on the significance of the day. Recitation was done by Ayushi Roy of Class VIII. Students of Class V presented Patriotic Dance. Sri Ram Suvog Kairi  (Hindi Teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the life and work of Netaji Shbhash Chandra Bose and motivated the students to work for the country. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Principal's Message

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RAMNAGAR, SILCHAR is an educational project of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA, KANYAKUMARI, Headquarter and Kanyakumari
. The school is running with the objective of "Man Making - Nation Building". VKV Ramnagar, , Silchar was established in the year 2005. The land was donated by late Adhir Chandra Roy, a resident of Ramnaagar area.
The Vidyalaya has co-educational facility. Though English is the Medium of instructions, equal emphasis is also given to Hindi, Bengali and Sanskrit in the curriculum. Besides academic, the Vidyalaya has initiated different activities to help the children develop their inherent faculties. The Vidyalaya is leaving no stone unturned in instilling in the children a sense of righteousness and discipline. The vidyalaya curriculum has given the top most priority in generating a pool of students with high moral values for maintaining love and respect for our rich cultural heritage as well as for serving the society and the motherland as responsible citizen in the long run.
