Bhasha Sahid Diwas Observation

On 19th May 2017 , Bhasa Sahid Diwas was observed in Vidyalaya. Various programs were kept to observe the day. Sri Saurindra Kumar Bhattacharjee , President of Barak Valley Cultural committee , Ex Professor of Cachar College was present as Chief Guest. On the day Significance was told by Pragati Mallick of Class VII.  Opening song was sung by some students of Class VI,VIII,IX and X. Sri Saurindra Bhattacharjee sir told the students about the sacrifice of the great souls for mother language and  inspired students to contribute in the practice of cultural activities. Quiz was conducted by Chiranjit Paul Sir of Vidyalaya.

Rabindra Jayanti Observation

     On 9^th May Rabindra Jayanti was observed in Vidyalaya in full spirit. On the occasion various programs were kept in Vidyalaya. Opening song was sung by Class IX students. Significance of the day was told by Mayashree Singha, student of Class X. One Rabindra Nritya was presented by Class VII students. Smt. Apu Sutradhar, Founder Principal  of “Kalashetram  Academy” of Cultural Activties and General Secretary of “Sammilito Sanskritik Mancha”was present as Chief Guest. She spoke on the contribution of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore in cultural world and in our life. Then Class IV students presented Rabindra Sangeet and Class VIII students also presented Rabindra Nritya.  Housewise Recitation Competition for Class IV,V  and Rabindra Sangeet competition for Classs VI,VII,VIII  was also held.  Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Barsharambha Observation

 On 4^th May 2017, new session of Vidyalaya started with Barsharambha Program. On the occasion Sri Bimal Nath choudhury, Former Principal of Norshing Higher Secondary School was present as Chief Guest. He told some of the incidents from Swami Vivekananda’s life and motivated students to follow the ideal in life. Barsharambha Puja was done by Sri Mridul Bhattacharjee. Saraswati Vandana was sung by Smt. Ashima Bhattacharjee,Music teacher of Vidyalaya. After that students offered flowers to the portrait of Maa Saraswati and taken Prasad.  Program concluded with shanti Mantra.
