Krishna Janmashtami celebration

                      On 25th August Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit. On the occasion Sri Pradip Kumar Das (President and Dramatist of Ganasur Club of Silchar) was present as Chief Guest. Respected guest addressed the occasion with his valuable words. Students presented Krishna Bhajan on the occasion. Skit Presentation was done by students on childhood incidents of Lord Krishna. Action song and  Dance presentation was also done by the students of Vidyalaya..

Observation of Mananiya Eknathji Ranade Punyatithi

                        On 22nd August,  Mananiya Eknathji Ranade Punyatithi and Madhab Dev Tithi was observered in Vidyalaya . On this occasion Guru Bhajan was presented by the students. Student from Class IX , Abhishweta Deb gave a speech on the significance of the day. Mananiya Eknathji's song was also presented by the students of vidyalaya.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration



                           Raksha Bandhan Program is celebrated in Vidyalaya on 18th August 2016 in full spirit. Program started with Mangalacharan. A student from the vidyalaya spoke about the occasion and also students presented a song on the occasion. Respected teacher from school gave a speech about the significance of the day.
After that Raksha Bandhan ceremony started and all students tied Rakhi on each others wrists. Program concluded with Shantimantra.

Independence Day Celebration

                   


                    70th Independence day was celebrated with full spirit of Patriotic feeling at Vidyalaya. Smt Smriti Paul (Assistant Professor of Department of Political Science, Cachar College) was present as Resource Person . She told the students about the significance of the day.  Along with other competition , Action Song presentation was there for class IV and V.  For class VI to VIII Collage Painting Competition was conducted on the theme National Integration. Patriotic Song competition was held housewise for class IX and X.

Principal's Message

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RAMNAGAR, SILCHAR is an educational project of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA, KANYAKUMARI, Headquarter and Kanyakumari
. The school is running with the objective of "Man Making - Nation Building". VKV Ramnagar, , Silchar was established in the year 2005. The land was donated by late Adhir Chandra Roy, a resident of Ramnaagar area.
The Vidyalaya has co-educational facility. Though English is the Medium of instructions, equal emphasis is also given to Hindi, Bengali and Sanskrit in the curriculum. Besides academic, the Vidyalaya has initiated different activities to help the children develop their inherent faculties. The Vidyalaya is leaving no stone unturned in instilling in the children a sense of righteousness and discipline. The vidyalaya curriculum has given the top most priority in generating a pool of students with high moral values for maintaining love and respect for our rich cultural heritage as well as for serving the society and the motherland as responsible citizen in the long run.
