Mananeeya Eknathji Punya Tithi


On 23dr August 2018, Mananeeya Eknathji Punya tithi was observed in vidyalaya. on the occasion, many programs were organized. Students of Class X presented song. Students also demonstrated Yoga and Martial Art. Smt Anamika Singha Didi (English Teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the life and work of Ma Eknathji Ranade. She motivated the students with different stories from the life of Ma. Eknathji Ranade. Program concluded with shanti path.

Independence day Celebration


On 15th August 2018, Independence Day  was  celebrated  in Vidyalaya in full spirit. In the morning Flag Hoisting was done with the Band Troop.  After  Flag Hoisting cultural program was organized with different events. Music students of Vidyalaya  presented  patriotic song.  Anuva Nath of Class VIII and  Satakshi Bhattacharjee  of Class IV spoke on the significance of  the day. Petriotic Dance was also presented by the students. Students of vidyalaya also demonstrated Martial Art on the occasion.
Housewise different competitions like  Petriotic Song competition,  Petriotic Dance Competition and Go as you like in the theme of Freedom Fighters  were also organized on the occasion. Parents have  also attended the program.  Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Samvardhana of the 6th Batch of Class X


On 9th July 2018, Samvardhana was organized for the students of 6th Batch of Class X who have done good result in Board examination. On the occasion Chief Guests were Professor Niranjan Roy (Dean of Economics & Commerce department of Assam University) and  Smt Attri Deshmukh (HOD of Physics Department of Assam University) along with Academic Support Group Smt Sunita Ghosh Deb (Former Principal of Moinul Haque School) , Smt Mukta Paul (Former Principal of Adharchand School), Sri Dhiren Singha (Principal of Udharband School). Sri Bijon Saha sir(Principal of VKV Ramnagar) welcomed everyone. A song was presented by Class IX students. Students then shared their experience, how they prepared for their exams. Guardians also shared their experience and thanked the institution and the teachers for their help and support. Guests also enlightened everyone with their golden words  and asked to learn to win jealousy and evil. They also quoted some of Swami Vivekananda's beautiful lines to motivate the students. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Swami Vivekananda Punya Tithi


     On 4th July 2018, Swami Vivekananda Punya Tithi was observed in Vidyalaya. Students of Class V presented Vivek Geet on the occasion. Smt Manali Singha Didi (English Teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the life and learning of Swami Vivekananda and motivated the students to work for the society. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Principal's Message

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RAMNAGAR, SILCHAR is an educational project of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA, KANYAKUMARI, Headquarter and Kanyakumari
. The school is running with the objective of "Man Making - Nation Building". VKV Ramnagar, , Silchar was established in the year 2005. The land was donated by late Adhir Chandra Roy, a resident of Ramnaagar area.
The Vidyalaya has co-educational facility. Though English is the Medium of instructions, equal emphasis is also given to Hindi, Bengali and Sanskrit in the curriculum. Besides academic, the Vidyalaya has initiated different activities to help the children develop their inherent faculties. The Vidyalaya is leaving no stone unturned in instilling in the children a sense of righteousness and discipline. The vidyalaya curriculum has given the top most priority in generating a pool of students with high moral values for maintaining love and respect for our rich cultural heritage as well as for serving the society and the motherland as responsible citizen in the long run.
