Sambardhana of CGPA 10 Holders and GPP Rank Holdres


   On 6th December 2017, Sambardhana was given to CGPA 10 Holders of Class X Board Examination and Rank holders of Ganit Pragyan Pratiyogita organized by VKSPV. On the occasion Dr. Debasish Sharma (Assistant Professor of G.C College, Mathematics Department) was present as Chief Guest along with Academic Support Team members Smt Sunita Ghosh Dev, Smt Mukta Paul, Sri Dhiren Singha sir. On the occasion Class VI students presented the opening song. Then CGPA 10 Holders Monalisha Singha and Suraj Singha shared their experience and motivated students to work hard and study with some systematic routine. Then Class X students presented a song. GPP rank holder students also shared their experience on the occasion. Sambardhana was given to the students. Academic support team members also blessed the students for a successful life ahead. Class VIII students then presented a song. Then Chief Guest Dr. Debasish Sharma interacted with the students and explained some mathematical formula for fast calculation. Program concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Su-Ka-Fa Diwas Observation


 On 4th December 2017, Su-Ka-Fa Diwas is observed in vidyalaya. On the occasion, Class IX students presented assemese song. Student of Class VII , Anuva Nath spoke on the significance of the day. Smt Preeti Singha (Science Teacher) of Vidyalaya spoke on the occasion. The program concluded with shanti Mantra.

Workshop on Science Investigatory Project


    From 30th November to 4th December  2017Science Investigatory Project was conducted   at Vidyalaya. Students from five VKV's of South Assam Cluster  participated in the workshop under the guidance of Principal of VKV Ramnagar Sri Shasanka Roy and Soumitra Das sir (Senior science teacher of Umrangshu). They have learnt some basic concepts of Science with practipal implementations. After doing the practicals students prepared report and presented Powerpoint Presentation on their experiments. Some guests from Assam University, G.C College came and interacted with the students. On the concluding program Dr. C.R Bhattacharjee sir (Associate Professor of Chemisty Department, Assam University) was present as Chief Guest. He interected with the students and motivated them to work hard for achieving their goal.

Gita Jayanti Observation


  On 30th November 2017, Gita Jayanti is observed in Vidyalaya.  Sri Gobind Sharma sir (Assistant Professor of Assam University, Sanskrit Department) was present as Chief Guest. Various programs were there on the occasion. Students of Class VII presented the opening song. Class VI students Chanted Sloka Of Gita. Student of Class VIII Saswati Dutta spoke on the significance of the day. Conversation on Bhagawat Gita was presented by Class VIII students. Class V students also presented one song. Sri Gobind Sharma sir in his speech spoke on the Universal message of Bhagawat Gita. He explained how it is giving us guidance in our all works and living a disciplined life.

Lachit Divash Observation


 On 24th November 2017, Lachit Divash is observed in Vidyalaya. On the occasion various programs were there. Students of Class IX presented the opening song. Shreya Sengar of Class VIII spoke on the Significance of Lachit Divash. Smt Anamika Singha didi (English Teacher of Vidyalaya) spoke on the occasion. She narrated different incidents from the life of Lachit Bokphukan that how he sacrificed his life for motherland  and motivated the students to work for nation. One Drama on the book "Divaswapna" was also performed by the students.

Sadhana Diwas Observation


On 19th November 2017, Sadhana Diwas is celebrated in Vidyalaya. It is the Birth Aniversary of Ma. Eknathji,  the founder of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra. On the occasion various programs were there. Students of Class X presented song on Ma.  Eknathji. Student of Class IX Mritunjay Singha spoke on the significance of the day. Vivek  Geet  presentation was there by the students of Class V. On the occasion Sri Dibakar Nag sir spoke on the life and working of Ma. Eknathji. He narrated different incidents from the life of Ma. Eknathji and motivated students to work  for themselves and the society. 
On the occasion various competitions  were there Housewise. Students of Class VI were involved in Preparing things from waste materials. Students of Class VII and VIII prepared Rangoli.

Children's Day Observation

     
     On 14th November 2017, Children's Day is celebrated in Vidyalaya. On the occasion various programs were there. Students of Class VI presented the opening song. Riya Singha of Class IX spoke on the significance of Children's Day. Students of Class IV also presented a song beautifully. Science teacher of Vidyalaya Sri Sanjay Dey sir spoke on the occasion that children are the future of the nation. They are the building blocks of our country. They should grow up with the sence of responsibility within themselves. One Drama was performed by the teachers of Vidyalaya on the special occasion.

Vimarsha on 150th Birth Anniversary of Sister Nivedita


On the occasion of 150th Birth anniversary of Sister Nivedita, Vimarsha was organized by VKV, Ramnagar. Parents of the students from Class VI to Class VIII were present in the occasion. Sri Shankar Bhattacharjee sir (Former Principal of Women's college) was present as Chief Guest. He spoke on the life of Sister Nivedita and her contribution  in the field of education and Women Empowerment  in our country.

   On 28th October 2017,  150th Birth Anniversary of Sister Nivedita is observed in Vidyalaya. Various programs were there for the occasion. Students of Class VIII presented song on the life of Sister Nivedita. Pragati Mallick of Class VII spoke on the significance of the day. Class V students participated in Recitation on patriotic theme. Students of vidyalaya performed one Drama on the Life of Sister Nivedita. Vivek Geet was beautifully sung by music students. Sri Noni Gopal Debnath sir (Vice Principal of Radhamadhav College and HOD of Bengali department) was present as Chief Guest to grace the occasion. He spoke on the dedicated life of Sister Nivedita towards the selfless work for our country and specially for Women. The program concluded with shanti mantra.

Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration


  On 11th September 2017, Universal  Brotherhood  Day was celebrated in Vidyalaya in grand manner. Sri Jashabanta Roy (Head of Department of Philosophy, Radhamadhav College) was present as Chief Guest. Program started by the floral tribute to Swamiji’s portrait. Class V students presented the opening song beautifully. Then KG and Class I students presented one action Rhyme. Guru Bhajan was presented by Class I students. Class II students presented one Semi Classical Dance. Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Speech was presented by Class V student Debita Singha. Dance Drama was performed by Class IV and V students. Prajapati dance was performed beautifully by Class II students. Sri Jashabanta Roy sir in his speech explained the words ‘Universal’ and ‘Brotherhood’. He said that Swami Vivekananda stressed on ‘Oneness’ that we all are one, though different but our goal and our main attainment is same. Then Patriotic Dance was presented by Class IV and V students.  Patriotic song was sung by Class II, II and IV students. Program concluded with Shanti Path.

Teacher's Day Celebration


    On 5th September 2017 2017, Teacher’s day is celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit. Students of Class X organised the events beautifully. Sri Debasish Das (Former teacher of Norshing Higher Secondary School and renowned Writer) was present as chief guest  to grace the occasion. Opening song was presented by  Class IX students. After that dance performance was there by Class IV and V students.  Mayashree Singha of Class X spoke on the Significance of the day. Classical Dance was presented by selective  students. Class VIII students presented one beautiful Drama depicting the role of teacher in student’s life. Senior students who have taken classes on the special day shared their experiences. Sri Debasish Das sir spoke on how teachers are playing role in moulding the life of students and motivating as well as guiding them.  After that Class X students  presented a melodious song. Program concluded with shantipath.

     On 25th August 2017, Ganesh Chaturthi  was observed in Vidyalaya  in full spirit. Program started by the  Aarti of lord Ganesh  by Seniormost member of VKV Ramnagar, Sri. B. A Naidu. Then Ganesh Vandana  was presented by Class V students. Ruposhree Dey  of Class VIII spoke on the significance of the Day.  Class VII students also presented  Ganesh  Bhajan. Then Sri Subhom Roy (Hindi Teacher of Vidyalaya) delivered speech by narrating different incidents from life of Lord Ganesh. After that floral tribute  was given by all teachers and Class X students of Vidyalaya. Program concluded with Shantipath.

   On 23rd August 2017 Srimanta Shankardev Tithi was celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit. Smt Nivedita Sengupta (Principal of Sangeetanjali Music Academy and Muktashree High School) was present as Chief Guest. Program started by beautiful Ganesh Vandana Dance presentation of Pragati Mallick of Class VII. Class IX students presented ‘Naam’. Significance of the day was narrated by Kavita Dey of Class VII.  Satriya Dance was performed  by  Debolina Das of Class VII. Smt. Nivedita Sengupta Didi spoke on the contribution of Srimanta Shankardev in the field of Assemese Culture. program concluded with Shantipath.

    On 16th August 2017, Janmasthami is celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit. Various programs were there. Smt Purobi Chakraborty (Former Lecturer of Women's College) was present there to grace the occasion. She spoke on the message and lessons that we get from Lord Krishna's life to work and be firm on the goal of our life. Students of Class VIII presented the opening Krishna Bhajan. Principal's Message

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RAMNAGAR, SILCHAR is an educational project of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA, KANYAKUMARI, Headquarter and Kanyakumari
. The school is running with the objective of "Man Making - Nation Building". VKV Ramnagar, , Silchar was established in the year 2005. The land was donated by late Adhir Chandra Roy, a resident of Ramnaagar area.
The Vidyalaya has co-educational facility. Though English is the Medium of instructions, equal emphasis is also given to Hindi, Bengali and Sanskrit in the curriculum. Besides academic, the Vidyalaya has initiated different activities to help the children develop their inherent faculties. The Vidyalaya is leaving no stone unturned in instilling in the children a sense of righteousness and discipline. The vidyalaya curriculum has given the top most priority in generating a pool of students with high moral values for maintaining love and respect for our rich cultural heritage as well as for serving the society and the motherland as responsible citizen in the long run.
