Samartha Bharat Parva Celebration

    From 26th December 2016 onwards Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ramnagar  is celebrating Samartha Bharat Parva which will be continued upto 12th January 2017. On 26th December           Dr. Subrata Dutta who is the HOD of Social Works Department, Assam University was present as Chief Guest. He interected with the students and motivated them to be in discipline and be a responsible citizen of the country.
    On 27th December Former Principal of Jorhat Science College Sri Lakshmi Kanta Bhattacharjee was present as Chief Guest. He explained about Vedic Mahematics and contribution of Indian Mathematician in the field of Mathematics from ancient time. He interacted with students and taught them some methods to do calculations in short time.

Sarada Maa Jayanti Observation

On 20th December Maa Sarada Jayanti was observered in Vidyalaya. On the occasion songs were presented by Class VIII students and Class IX students of Vidyalaya. Speech on the Life of Maa Sarada was given by Class VIII student Riya Paul which motivated students to work dedicatedly for society.

Parivar Sanmelan on Occasion of Gita Jayanti

       On 10th December on the occasion of Gita Jayanti, Parivar Sanmelan was done in Vidyalaya. Various programs were done on that day. Smt. Sabita Das who is Former Teacher of Vivekananda school and Vice President of Sarada Sangha Nutanpatty was present on the occasion. She explained various Slokas of Gita and explained the students about the importance of it in our life. Students of Class VIII presented patriotic song and after that Gita Chanting was done by Class VIII students. Quiz was conducted on Gita and then Game was done including students and parents. After that discussion was done on the Topic "Ideal Family" where parents shared their views on the points to make the family Ideal in society.

Su-Ka-Fa Day Observation

 On 2nd December 2016 Su-Ka-Fa day is observed in Vidyalaya. On the occasion Class Vii students of Vidyalaya presented one Assemese song. Sports Teacher of Vidyalaya  Sri Chandan Konwar Sir told about the significance of the day. Then Principal Sir of Vidyalaya Sri Shasanka Roy shared his experiences of Charai Dou on the occasion.

Lachit Diwas Observation

    On 24th November 2016 Lachit Diwas was observed in Vidyalaya. On the occasion various programs were there. Speech was given by Class VII student Inunangbi Singha on the occasion. Students of Class VIII presented an Assamese song. Students of Class VI also presented one song beautifully. Then Bengali Teacher of Vidyalaya Chiranjit Paul gave an enlightening speech by telling various stories related to his life.

Sadhana Divash Observation

      On 19th November Birth Aniversary of Ma. Eknathji Ranade, the Founder of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari was celebrated as Sadhana Divash in full spirit. Many programs were there on the day. One student of Class VIII Mritunjay Singha spoke about the significance of the day. Sri Rabindranath Biswas who worked with Ma. Eknathji and was the Organizing Secretary of Banabashi Kalyan Ashram was present to share his experience with the students. Students of Vidyalaya participated housewise in Rangoli Competition. students of class VIII participated in Story Telling Competition on incidents of Ma. Eknathji's life. Kendra Prarthana explanation and Debate Competition was also done on that day.

Children's Day Observation

On 15th November Children's Day was observed in Vidyalaya. Various programs were there on that day. Teachers of the Vidyalaya presented two songs that day for the students, students also presented song on that occasion. Teacher of Vidyalaya Kathamrita Bhattacharjee gave a speech on the occasion to motivate students. There were different games arrangements for all the classes of students like Tongue twisters, Quiz etc.

Sister Nivedita Jayanti Observation



On 28th October Sister Nivedita Jayanti was observed in Vidyalaya. Various programs were there. Students of class VI presented a song on the occasion. A speech on Sister Nivedita's Life Story was given by a student of class VI. After that a petriotic song was presented by class VIII students. One inspirational speech on Sister Nivedita Jayanti was given by Preeti Singha Didi who is teacher of Vidyalaya.

Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti

          Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti was celebrated on 3rd October in the Vidyalaya. One student from class VIII gave a speech on the occasion. Petriotic song was presented by students of class VI. Speech was given by teacher of the Vidyalaya on the importance of the day.

           Swachh Abhiyan was kept in the second part of the program. All the students were given responsibilities to clean and make their environment neat and clean.

Swachh Bharat Day Observation




 
          On 30th September Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ramnagar celebrated Swachh Bharat Day where different competitions were held for different classes to observe the day. Students of class VII presented Puppet Show on Swachh Bharat. After that students of class VIII presented a Street Play on how to save our environment. To motivate the students Audio Visual on Swachh Bharat was also shown to them.

Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration



Universal Brotherhood Day is celebrated at Vidyalaya in full spirit on 12th September.  Dr. Sarbani Bhattacharjee (Assistant Professor of womens College ,Silchar ) was present as the resource person. She addressed the students. Debita Singha (Class IV student of Vidyalaya) recited the Chicago Address. One Petriotic song and one Vivek Geet was presented by the students of Class IV and V.

On 5th September Teachers day and Ganesh Chaturthi were celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit.   On 4th September Srimanta Shankardev Tithi is celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit. One student of class VIII , Sanju Singha gave speech on the significance of the day. Students of class IX of Vidyalaya presented Bargeet in this occasion. Naam was sang by class VII students on this very occasion.

                      On 25th August Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in Vidyalaya in full spirit. On the occasion Sri Pradip Kumar Das (President and Dramatist of Ganasur Club of Silchar) was present as Chief Guest. Respected guest addressed the occasion with his valuable words. Students presented Krishna Bhajan on the occasion. Skit Presentation was done by students on childhood incidents of Lord Krishna. Action song and  Dance presentation was also done by the students of Vidyalaya..

Observation of Mananiya Eknathji Ranade Punyatithi

                        On 22nd August,  Mananiya Eknathji Ranade Punyatithi and Madhab Dev Tithi was observered in Vidyalaya . On this occasion Guru Bhajan was presented by the students. Student from Class IX , Abhishweta Deb gave a speech on the significance of the day. Mananiya Eknathji's song was also presented by the students of vidyalaya.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration



                           Raksha Bandhan Program is celebrated in Vidyalaya on 18th August 2016 in full spirit. Program started with Mangalacharan. A student from the vidyalaya spoke about the occasion and also students presented a song on the occasion. Respected teacher from school gave a speech about the significance of the day.
After that Raksha Bandhan ceremony started and all students tied Rakhi on each others wrists. Program concluded with Shantimantra.

Independence Day Celebration

                   


                    70th Independence day was celebrated with full spirit of Patriotic feeling at Vidyalaya. Smt Smriti Paul (Assistant Professor of Department of Political Science, Cachar College) was present as Resource Person . She told the students about the significance of the day.  Along with other competition , Action Song presentation was there for class IV and V.  For class VI to VIII Collage Painting Competition was conducted on the theme National Integration. Patriotic Song competition was held housewise for class IX and X.

Falicitation Program for Class X Students for Excellent Result in Board Examination

  On 30th June Falicitation program was organised for the seven students who scored CGPA 10 Marks in the Board Examination of Class X. Sri N. Bose (Senior Divisional Manager of L.I.C Cachar Division, Silchar Branch) was present as Chief Guest. Along with him Dr. Bivhash Deb (Ex Director of College Development Counsil, Assam University) , Dr. S.B Paul (Ex Professor of Department of Chemistry, Assam University), Sri Bimalendu Roy (Board member of Vivekananda University) ,  Smt. Sunita Ghosh Deb (Principal of M.H.C High School), Smt. Mukta Das Paul(Ex Principal of AdharChand School) were also present on the occasion.They all appreciated the hardwork of the Vidyalaya students and also motivated them to keep up the good work in future.

Skin Disease Awareness and Checkup Camp



On 29th June 2016 Skin Disease Awareness and Checkup Camp was organised for the students of Vidyalaya. Dr. Arup Paul (Skin Specialist and Resident Professor of Silchar Medical College) was present as Chief Guest in the Camp. He explained various things to the students regarding  Skin Dieseases and Skin Checkup was also done by him.

International Day of Yoga



          International Day of Yoga was celebrated on 21st June 2016 in Vidyalaya. Sri Biprashish Chakraborty (Renowned Yoga Instructor of Silchar) was present as Resource Person on the occasion. He delivered a speech on Yoga and its benefits in our life and also inspired students to practice yoga everyday. On every Wednesday Yoga Period has been kept in the  Vidyalaya Time Table. Students from class IV to X practices Yoga in that period and this practice keep going on since 2005 i,e from the day of Inception of the Vidyalaya.

Principal's Message

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RAMNAGAR, SILCHAR is an educational project of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA, KANYAKUMARI, Headquarter and Kanyakumari
. The school is running with the objective of "Man Making - Nation Building". VKV Ramnagar, , Silchar was established in the year 2005. The land was donated by late Adhir Chandra Roy, a resident of Ramnaagar area.
The Vidyalaya has co-educational facility. Though English is the Medium of instructions, equal emphasis is also given to Hindi, Bengali and Sanskrit in the curriculum. Besides academic, the Vidyalaya has initiated different activities to help the children develop their inherent faculties. The Vidyalaya is leaving no stone unturned in instilling in the children a sense of righteousness and discipline. The vidyalaya curriculum has given the top most priority in generating a pool of students with high moral values for maintaining love and respect for our rich cultural heritage as well as for serving the society and the motherland as responsible citizen in the long run.
